Boonton rallies to raise funds for 'Ellie Strong'

A "Road Ahead" community event was held on June 14 at the Boonton Elks Lodge to raise funds to help the family of Ellie Cooper purchase a wheelchair-accessible van for Ellie, who suffers from cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

The "Ellie Strong" campaign has drawn support from the local and online communities, raising more than $30,000 so far.
